The Train-the-Trainer (TTT) sessions under the MARMED Project were a resounding success, setting a benchmark for innovative and impactful training. These sessions were carefully designed to empower trainers with critical skills such as problem-solving, communication, and collaborative learning, ensuring they are well-prepared to guide others in the maritime sector. The program included a four-hour Session 1, completed on July 12, 2024, a three-hour self-paced case study preparation, and a highly engaging one-hour Session 2, completed on September 24, 2024.
Trainers were equipped with expertly developed materials and structured session guidelines, fostering dynamic and interactive online discussions. These discussions were instrumental in applying theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios, encouraging critical thinking and promoting cross-national collaboration. Feedback from satisfaction surveys was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the sessions’ relevance, the effectiveness of the trainers, and the strong engagement experienced throughout the program. The TTT initiative not only exceeded expectations but also laid a solid foundation for building industry knowledge and preparing trainers to address the challenges of the blue economy. This achievement underscores the program’s success in delivering top-tier professional development opportunities.
